Directed Studies

This course explores the nature of books and texts. The possible topics for this course include: the nature of the author, the forms in which texts are transmitted, censorship, copyright, the publishing trade, the reading public, book clubs and the reception and cataloguing of books as artifacts. Prerequisite: A 200-level CT course.
